STUDIO DE ANIMALast updated 19 October 2026

Studio De Anima (“Studio DA”, “we”) is the trading name of Solace Innovations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 16742054), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller under UK data protection law. Questions about your data go to info@deanima.co.uk.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive what you give us: usually your name, email address, company, phone number and message. We use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare quotes and orders. The form sends through our own Microsoft 365 mailbox, so no other company holds your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps you ask for before a contract.

Customers and suppliers. If you order from us or supply us, we keep the contact, order, delivery and invoice details needed to do the work and to meet our tax and accounting duties. Our lawful bases are the contract between us and our legal obligations.

Visiting this website. The site sets no cookies. It remembers the last page you viewed in your own browser’s storage, which never leaves your device. To learn which pages and products interest people, it also counts visits anonymously: the pages seen, the links and products clicked, how far an article is read, the site that sent you, your rough country, your browser’s language and whether you are on a phone or a computer. These counts go to our own server, which discards your IP address before filing them in our Google account. They are never used to identify you, to build a profile or to advertise, and we keep them for 13 months. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Nothing is counted if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and you can , which stores one small setting on your device. Our host, Vercel, keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running. Films are embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, so YouTube’s own policies apply only if you press play. The Instagram images on the site are copies held on our own domain, so nothing loads from Meta in your browser.

Our social media publishing tool

“Studio DA Social” is an internal tool that publishes Studio DA’s own photos, videos and captions to Studio DA’s own accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Only our own team signs in to it, and only with our own accounts. It uses each platform’s official API to upload our content and to read basic details of our own accounts, such as the account name and ID, so it posts to the right place. It does not collect, store or share data about anyone else, and it is not offered to the public.

The access the platforms grant to the tool is stored on our own computer, readable only by our own user account, and is never sold, shared or used for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The tool uses YouTube API Services: see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google’s security settings, or from the equivalent settings on each platform.

Who else sees it

We never sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run our email, website and file storage (Microsoft, Vercel and Google), and with the shipping, payment and accounting partners an order needs. Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the standard contractual clauses approved for UK use.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted when we no longer need them, normally within two years. Order and invoice records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they belong to, as UK tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email info@deanima.co.uk and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
